Well apparently the frozen Boa that a Florida paper identified as coming from Florida actually was taken in Ohio. Which actually gives us another data point in a state where constrictors are vulnerable to the cold other than Florida.

HR2811/ S373 Legislative Update

The fight to stop The Python Ban has been long, hard and is ongoing. USARK took decisive action beginning last summer to stop HR2811 and S373 from passing both Houses of Congress. As a result HR2811 was scaled back from the original 40 species targeted, down to two species in its current form. S373 was amended from 40 species to the 9 species listed in a recent USGS report. These two bills in their current form are NOT acceptable to USARK and the Reptile Nation.

01/16/10 Support the Earthquake Recovery Efforts in Haiti

Though we are deep in our fight to preserve our businesses and the important mission of keeping animals for the future; I really felt strongly that our family should help with the relief efforts in Haiti. This will take a world effort and all who can help hopefully will help.

 I floundered around trying to know where to send a donation as it is difficult when you don't know where the money is going. I decided that the site below that has been set up by former Presidents Clinton and Bush who are specifically working on behalf of generating aid to Haiti was the one to pick.
