male lavender glow, update

He still is retaining his lavender coloration a year after the fact. This guy and a few of his siblings came out with this lavender cast to their appearance and my hopes are that it will one day be a common place in my projects. The breeding that I had done last year was a male sharp Sun Glow bred to one of his aunts which is a 2000 double het for Sun glow and a couple of the kids came out amazing looking. Lots of smiles abounded while checking out each of the babies last April. A few have faded a bit and others have really become intensely lavender so I think there is a good chance for some genetic inheritability with this project but again, only time will tell. I plan on duplicating the original breeding this upcoming season to see if the same out come occurs. thanks, Doug Matuszak www.boabasement.com
