Albino Kenyan Sandboa
ID: Albino Kenyan Sandboa
Photographer:

Remarks:
This is a fine example of one of the "normal" albino lineages of Kenyan sandboas. In fact, these animals are descended from a wild-caught Egyptian sandboa, but after several generations of being bred with Kenyans, they are essentially indistinguishable from pure Kenyans.
This type of albinism is believed to be a form of tyrosinase-positive albinism. We have never seen a classic tyrosinase-negative albino appearance in Kenyan sandboas.
