Remarks:
As Borneos mature, the red colors continue to intensify. Some adults can be stunning! Most Borneo pythons have granular subocular scales, (small scales under the eye and above the lip scales) but once in a while you may observe a specimen like this one that does not have any suboculars; this is rare in this species.
