VPI Striped Blood Python

Many blood pythons have a tendency to show some degree of a pale vertebral stripe. This is a lineage that we breed that has a striped appearance that is inheritable. Some snakes hatch with a complete pale stripe from the neck to the tail, but most look like this two-year-old snake. There is quite a bit of variation, so probably more than one gene is involved in the appearance. They are pretty snakes!
